Wema FLB-1 Tank Inspection Hatch With 1.25″ Sender Fitting

We often get asked for a retro fit hatch solution.  This simple and effective nylon hatch made by Wema is suitable for various tank types and sizes.

This hatch 152mm diameter and requires a 115mm diameter hole in the tank.

It is constructed from durable nylon and has a central stainless steel bolt for secure tightening.

The hatch is resistant to corrosion and weathering and is straightforward to install and maintain.  The hatch is secured firmly in place by tightening the central stainless steel bolt, ensuring a watertight seal when closed.  This tightening mechanism also allows for quick and easy removal when access to the tank interior is required.

The 1.25″ BSP female threaded hole is compatible with Wema S3 fuel and water senders and also S3H Holding tank (black water) senders.  The addition of the hatch provides a simple way to add a sender to your tank as well as giving you crucial access to he interior of your tank for routine maintenance. (NB Sender not included)

Installation Instructions:

1. Cut a 115mm hole in the tank
2. Loosely screw together the two plates with the stainless steel split pin in place
3. Lightly coat the O-ring with washing up liquid and put between the two plates.
4. Rotate bottom plate through the hole in the tank and tighten the central screw to seal with the O-ring on the tank top surface.
