Heavy Duty Tank Straps

Strong tank securing kit with 316 marine grade stainless steel parts.

This kit is ideal for securing fuel or water tanks into position on your boat.

The kit contains two pairs of straps and it is recommended that both pairs of straps are used per tank. Either fit them with both straps running widthways around the tank; or with one strap going widthways and the other lengthways.

The heavy duty AISI 316 stainless steel ratchet tensioners each have a load rating of 700kg. The 25mm wide webbing straps each have a load bearing of 1300kg. The total length of the strap is 2.2m.

Each set of straps consists of one short length of strap with a loop at one end and a ratchet tensioner at the other end, one long length of strap with a loop at one end and a plain end at the other and four stainless screw down bridge shaped brackets.

How to fit the straps:

Match up the straps so you have one ratchet tensioner strap, one long strap and two brackets. Slot the stainless steel bridge brackets through the loops in the end of each of the straps. Screw the brackets down either side of the tank. Thread the long strap through the ratchet tensioner and tighten up to secure the tank.

As all the metal parts are 316 marine grade stainless steel these straps are ideally suited for using on sea going boats.
