Jay Wolfe started small and dreamt big. In 2004, whilst bringing up a couple of kids and renovating a Victorian town house, Jay decided to leave his job working for a large marine metalwork company and set up a fabrication business. Jay Wolfe Metalwork Ltd was born in the corner of a farmyard workshop. At the time, Jen was on maternity leave from her role in HR in a global cosmetics brand, and so did the admin and accounts from home in between sanding floorboards and going to toddler groups. Initially we did anything that came along, but soon realised there was a niche for metal tanks.

As a lot of our tanks are linked to the leisure industry, we set up a couple of online stores.  We sell marine chandlery through our online store www.floatyourboat.co.uk and campervan conversion parts and accessories though www.camperhappy.co.uk.

While a lot of what we do is linked to the marine industry, we support all areas of industry and private customers alike we make everything from balustrades to industrial mixing tanks, trollies and dip tanks. We don’t work with mild steel but if it’s stainless steel or aluminium then we’ll give it a go.
