Straight Hosetail

Stainless steel straight hosetail connector.

Useful for connecting flexible hose to threaded sockets, these investment cast hose adapters are handy to have around. They are rated to 150lb / 10 bar and they are suitable for use in marine environments as they are made from 316 grade stainless steel.

These straight hosetails are available in a range of imperial BSP thread sizes from 1/4″ to 2″ and in metric hose sizes from 6mm to 50mm. These hosetails are often referred to as hose adapters, hose connectors, horse tails, hose fittings and hose barbs. They have a male BSP thread on the bottom and a metric hose connection on the top.

Male BSP threads are tapered and fit well into female parallel sockets. Our range of hosetails include reducing hosetails allowing you to fit a narrower bore hose into your socket.
